Inyokern 10 Miler

Presented by Ridgecrest’s Over The Hill Track Club, the 49th annual OTHTC Inyokern 10-Mile Run features a one-way road course. It begins just west of the intersection of South China Lake Boulevard and Highway 395, travels north along Brown Road, the old Highway 395, and finishes at the Inyokern Senior Center at the corner of Sunset and Broadway in Inyokern. The route opens with a 0.3 mile desert loop, then continues for 9.7 miles on Brown Road into town. Because the start and finish are in different places, participants should plan a pickup at the finish or arrange a ride back to their vehicles, with limited assistance possibly available from local runners. Two aid stations are positioned at approximately miles 4 and 7 with water and light snacks, and refreshments will be available at the finish. There is no entry fee, and donations to OTHTC are welcome. Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in the male and female categories, and the first 20 finishers will receive medals. Early starters may begin ahead of the main field and record their own times, though they will not be eligible for awards. Race director: Brian Hildreth.
