Manvel Public Library hosts a preschool storytime featuring stories, songs, rhymes, and a craft. Created for children ages 3 to 5, each session highlights a different theme each week. Space is limited to 35 participants per session.

Character Nights offers a family friendly character dining experience at Luna’s Mexican Restaurant in League City. At each event, a special guest character visits the dining room for meet and greets and photo opportunities while guests enjoy Luna’s food and drinks. Appearances feature favorites such as Rapunzel, Woody, Captain America, and Moana, with more to come. There is no additional cost to participate, reservations are not required, and the event welcomes all ages.

At Manvel Public Library, toddlers ages 18 months to 3 years can take part in Movers & Shakers, a lively program focused on movement and coordination. Children will dance and sing, enjoy a short read-aloud, and explore simple props to get the wiggles out. Each session is limited to 35 participants.

Families can enjoy a high energy Nerf experience at Newman Park with battles and games arranged at the maze. The Rec supplies Nerf blasters, darts, and safety glasses, and participants may bring their own gear if they prefer. Parents will find seating under the pavilion and can bring a chair or take part in the activities. Admission is free for everyone.

Live Music Nights at Chicken N Pickle blend tasty eats, refreshing drinks, and performances by local musicians for an easygoing night out. Settle into a patio seat or take in the buzz by the game courts while the music plays. Whether meeting friends, bringing the family, or planning a simple night out, this casual showcase offers a relaxed way to unwind and connect with the community.

Set out on a calm pontoon cruise and take in the waterway views of Armand Bayou. This relaxed outing offers opportunities to see local wildlife and native plants, including herons and alligators that may be spotted along the banks. Trips take place at Armand Bayou Nature Center, with morning cruises available on Saturdays and sunset cruises offered on Saturdays and Sundays. Each boat ride is limited to 16 participants.

Movers & Shakers at Manvel Public Library helps toddlers build body percussion and fine motor skills through music, movement, stories, and engaging props that encourage active play. Designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years, each session is limited to 35 participants. Thursday sessions of the program are also available.

Experience a guided safari at Armand Bayou Nature Center aboard the center’s electric vehicle. The route travels through the riparian forest to views of Armand Bayou, then returns across the coastal tall-grass prairie. Along the way, participants hear an insider perspective on native plants and wildlife and may catch sight of resident animal ambassadors. Reservations are required. Tours are open to ages 5 and older. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring water. Admission is $13 for members and $15 for non-members.

Babies Bakery is hosting Santa for the sixth consecutive year, offering a series of sessions that can be booked once sign-ups go live. This event serves as a central hub for information as plans come together. Multiple dates are planned, with the possibility of two additional days, and the schedule could change. Updates will be shared as new details are announced.

An evening program centered on creativity and practical exploration for kids. Over two hours, participants construct, design, invent, and test ideas through interactive STEM challenges and open-ended maker projects. Pizza is provided. The cost is $25 for one child or $45 for two children. Open to the community, including those connected with Ecologist School Houston and first-time visitors.
