The tournament includes a wide range of divisions such as kata, weapons kata, point fighting, continuous kickboxing, open weight and open rank point fighting, stick fighting, tricking, team point fighting, and team stick fighting. A school-versus-school contest runs throughout, with every performance adding points toward a grand total. Dickinson, League City, and Pearland are all in contention, and the program with the highest score will claim the Team Championship Belt and bragging rights until the next championship. Competitors seeking the toughest challenge can enter the Open Weight and Open Rank Point Fighting divisions, which combine all belt levels and weight classes into larger brackets. These brackets use a double-elimination format to create more matches and more mat time, and each one awards a $100 cash prize to the winner. No other division includes prize money or double elimination. Registration is available in two tiers, with discounted pricing during pre-registration. The first division is $40 during pre-registration and $50 during regular registration, and each additional division is $25. Spectator admission is $5 for ages 5 and up. Registration closes at the posted deadline, late entries are not accepted, there is no at-the-door registration, and all competitors must complete registration before the cutoff.
