The 8th annual Brooks Foundation 1st Responder Golf Tournament benefits Pearland Professional Firefighters Local 4964. The tournament features a shotgun start and raises funds for the Pearland Professional Firefighter Association. Proceeds go directly to firefighters injured while safeguarding lives, and if a firefighter gives their life, the support then extends to their family.

Rollin’ Pearland 7 brings Houston’s cycling community together at Pomona, The Grove for a high energy road ride with options for every pace. A new 10 mile family route joins 30, 50, and 70 mile courses. Every rider receives a finisher medal, and on-course support includes a police escort, SAG, and well stocked rest stops. After the miles, there will be music, food, vendors, and a lively atmosphere. Raffles include a brand new bike and a brand new RP7 jersey, and an official RP7 jersey is available for purchase. A full weekend of activities surrounds the main ride with packet pickup and a kickoff ride, a power hour ride, and a recovery ride. Registration is available, and the first 150 registrants receive a commemorative T-shirt. The ride supports mental health, autism awareness, youth empowerment, and education through scholarships.
