Designed for riders getting into gravel as well as those training for an upcoming race, this group ride makes the most of the extra daylight and is a good opportunity for anyone new to the levee. The route begins at the shop, warms up on bikeways, then continues along the levee with several regroup points along the way. Strong lights are required. Navigation is also required, using Google Maps on a phone or a GPS device, and the route will be shared in the comments. The distance is about 23 miles, with a pace that ranges from 13 to 18 mph. Afterward, the group typically returns to the shop to share drinks, snacks, and stories. Gravel bikes are available to rent from the shop; to reserve, text 281 944 9164.
