StarQuest Dance Competition
Celebrating 30 years, StarQuest Dance Competition aims to create positive memories at their dance events. They strive to provide on-time and professional events in a fun-filled and exciting atmosphere. They want every student, parent, and teacher to feel special and cared for, creating a positive experience for everyone.

Enjoy live sets from local talent on the bar’s patio in a relaxed setting. There is no cover charge, bar bites are priced from $3 to $10, and you can play pool for free all day. Settle in with a cold drink and soak up the music.
AlbatrossLucine Locals Originals
Presented by the Galveston Music Collective, this rooftop music series at Hotel Lucine showcases local artists performing exclusively original songs. Each show includes a live painting, and proceeds from the artwork help cover musician pay. Picture sunset hues and an ocean breeze as original music and storytelling set the scene. Audience support is welcomed through cash tips and merchandise purchases, and $150 per-event sponsorships are available for those who want to further support the performers. The series is produced in partnership with Hotel Lucine, and the Galveston Music Collective is a 501c3 public charity dedicated to elevating Galveston's music scene.

Galveston’s Own Farmers Market, run by Groundswell, brings together growers, food makers, and artisans in a welcoming marketplace. Browse seasonal produce, farm-raised goods, prepared dishes, specialty pantry items, and handmade creations. The market also serves as a friendly community hub with live music, family activities, and free resources, while strengthening the local food economy and supporting small businesses. Guided by the mission Good Food for All, Groundswell additionally leads the Young Gardeners Program, Real Food Project, Victory Gardens Program, and a Food Access Program.
