Monthly Tarot Class

Deepen your tarot practice in a monthly class led by Mamba MiRah, available in a hybrid format for both in-person and online participation. If you plan to come to the shop, reserve your seat online and check in a few minutes before the session begins. Bring a tarot deck and a journal if you have them. Participants receive a handout with notes and spread ideas, and there is time afterward to practice and ask the instructor questions. Recordings are not offered. Class fees are non-refundable unless the instructor cancels in advance, and efforts will be made to reschedule any canceled session. Remember to choose your attendance preference during checkout. The class fee is $33.

Summer Bug Safari

Explore the prairie with a ranger and discover hands-on ways to collect insects while learning how bugs support life on land by pollinating flowers, feeding other animals, and maintaining healthy soil. A ranger will lead a guided bug hunt through Penn Farm, offering a look at how scientists study arthropods in the field. The group gathers at the parking lot at Penn Farm. Bring water and a snack if needed, wear sturdy walking shoes, and dress for the weather. Program details may change, be postponed, or be canceled due to weather, and updates may be shared on the organizer’s Facebook story. There is no additional program fee. Park entry is $7 per person or free with a Texas State Parks Pass, and children 12 and under enter the park at no charge.
