Creative Conversations brings together artists, makers, thinkers, and other creatively minded people for a relaxed monthly meetup at Standpipe Coffee House. This edition centers on the theme Beyond "Just Practice", blending an easygoing discussion with a simple creative activity, without any pressure to be perfect. Attendees can enjoy a beverage, settle in, and take part in a conversation designed to build connections and spark fresh ideas. Each month offers a new focus, sometimes reflective and sometimes playful, all aiming to rekindle momentum and add energy to personal creative work.

The original Ghostbusters returns to the big screen for a night of laughs, spooky shenanigans and nostalgic fun in a historic theater setting. Expect an energetic crowd, plenty of quotable moments and classic movie vibes with popcorn in hand. Popcorn and drinks are just one dollar each, cash only, and tickets are available online in advance to help skip the box office line. Rated PG and running 1 hour and 45 minutes, this supernatural comedy follows three offbeat parapsychologists who launch a ghost-catching business in New York City, then race to save the city when paranormal chaos surges and an ancient evil threatens to take over the world.

This gathering features a reflective circle that focuses on personal and group check-ins in a safe, supportive setting. Each person’s place is unique and valued. Breakfast follows the conversation. For details, contact Bob Harbuck at rwharbuck@consolidated.net.
