Pop In & DIY

Enjoy a relaxed, self-guided art session where you choose a project and create at your own pace. The studio provides all supplies along with typed, step-by-step instructions. Most paintings take about 1.5 to 2 hours, and your visit includes that paint time, materials, and written guidance. Arrivals after the cutoff will be turned away. Pricing varies by project type: children’s artwork is $25 when selecting from the kids Pop In & Paint gallery, adult canvases in 16x20 or 10x30 sizes and the 18x18 shiplap pallet are $35, wood boards are $45, porch leaners are $55, and 3D wooden projects such as bird houses, figurines, serving trays, and cutting boards range from $20 to $45. Chunky knit blankets are $65 and include four skeins of yarn plus typed, video, and hands-on instruction. Age recommendations help match each maker to the right activity. Canvas projects are best for ages 7 and up working independently, with parent help suggested for ages 5 to 7, since the format relies on reading printed directions and staff answer questions rather than providing full step-by-step demonstrations for young children. Pottery and wood projects suit ages 3 and up, with non-fired pottery that can be freely painted and finished with a painted-on glaze top coat that is not food safe. Candle making fits ages 5 and up, with adult assistance recommended for younger participants due to hot wax; candles can be made in 30 minutes or less and need about 1.5 to 2 hours to cool before going home. Chunky knit blanket sessions are recommended for ages 12 and up, and an advance reservation is requested to secure a preferred yarn color.
