Meal Prior to Stated Meeting
A relaxed meal is offered before the lodge’s stated meeting, providing time for friendly conversation and fellowship. Masons are welcome along with spouses, family, friends, and anyone interested in learning more about Masonry. It is a simple way to connect and enjoy camaraderie together.
Casual Commander
This casual Commander event features a distinctive rule set and community voting. Deck construction follows clear guidelines. Bracket 3 or less is required. Two card combos are not allowed. One three card combo is permitted, and any combo that uses four or more cards is allowed. Mass land destruction is prohibited. Only one tax spell may be included. Free spells and zero mana rocks are not allowed. After play, votes are cast for coolest, functional, and worst time, and prizes are awarded to the winners in each category at the end of the night.
Youth Homelessness Subcommittee Meeting
Your voice can help shape services for young people experiencing homelessness in the Heart of Texas. This public meeting of the Heart of Texas Homeless Coalition and the OCOF Youth Homelessness Subcommittee is a welcoming space to connect, share updates, and coordinate a network of support for youth and young adults across the region. Community perspectives are central to OCOF’s approach, and contributions from providers, parents, youth advocates, and anyone who wants to stay informed are encouraged. These gatherings occur every other month, typically on the first Tuesday in even-numbered months, to keep collaboration moving. If you plan to attend and need specific accommodations, please reach out to the OCOF System of Care Coordinator for assistance.
Heart of Texas Goodwill Community ConnectCEDH
This session focuses on practice and playtesting, with plenty of chances to try new builds and enjoy a fun atmosphere. Entry is $10 and includes a drink. Seventy-five percent of the entry pool will be awarded as store credit to the final table.
