Organized by the Utah Division of Arts & Museums, 40 Years of Folk at the historic Chase Home Museum highlights living traditions, heritage, and ancestral memories throughout Utah. Visitors can experience the skill of Utah’s folk artisans across generations and cultures, with examples that include a handcrafted classical guitar, intricately decorated wax resist eggs, Korean ink and folk paintings, Paquimé inspired pottery made with Utah clay, Shoshone beadwork and medallions, traditional Puerto Rican festival masks such as Vejigantes and Cabezudos, and hand twined rag rugs made in the spirit of Great Depression era techniques, along with additional works.
