Get an up-close look at the University of Utah AirMed helicopter as it lands at the ARUP Sandy Donor Center. This free community event welcomes families, neighbors, donors, former patients, community members, and University of Utah supporters. Meet the flight crew, tour the helicopter, and donate blood inside the center. ARUP Blood Services often supplies blood used by AirMed for patients in emergencies, and this event showcases that vital connection.

Round 2 of the MCC Signature Series brings four classes of micro crawler competition to West Valley City Centennial Park, featuring standard micro comp crawling under the 2025 MCC rule set. Registration is handled through the RC Arena app. Entry is free for all ages when accompanied by a parent or guardian, and parking is free. A driver briefing will be streamed to the club’s Instagram and Facebook pages. The day includes a group photo of rigs and a scale trail open to mini crawlers, set up with buildings and décor for memorable photos and video. Signature Series competition in the 24 to 18 scale range features two 10 gate courses with bonus gates, one set for D1–2 and another for D3–4, with no free play or practice on the courses. Top five finishers in each class receive additional chances in an opportunity drawing. The Nano Comp offers one 10 gate course with bonus gates for C1–3, also closed to practice, with the top five in each class earning extra drawing entries. MCC 2025 rules apply to the micro competition, and Nano rules for 2026 will be announced. Scale Kings RC Showdown adds a show and shine element, with judging for best theme, best trailer, best comp rig, best scale build or doll house, and best nano. A relaxed club challenge will mark a special trail where drivers can try as many times as they like without judges. Reach the top and ring the bell for bragging rights, with details explained during the driver meeting. Plan ahead by bringing plenty of batteries and any gear needed for your stay. Please pack out your trash. Restrooms are available on site, and there is no EMT present. Sponsors and prizes will be announced.
