Sunset Cinema at The Wharf
Pacifico presents free outdoor movies on Transit Pier at The Wharf throughout the summer. The program mixes action, romantic comedies, blockbusters, and classics, featuring titles like Everything Everywhere All at Once, Shrek 2, Hairspray, Sinners, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Hamilton, A League of Their Own, Catch Me If You Can, Apollo 13, Roman Holiday, 10 Things I Hate About You, F1, and Project Hail Mary, along with a double feature of When Harry Met Sally and First Wives Club.
Transit PierThe Really Big Dinosaur Show
Rainbow Puppet Productions presents a library show that brings prehistoric creatures to life with original songs and more than twenty giant puppets. Framed by the idea of fossils sharing their stories, the performance explores the time of the dinosaurs. The program is co-sponsored by the Friends of George Mason Regional Library and is part of the Summer Reading Adventure. It will take place at various FCPL branches throughout the summer. Registration may be required.

DeafPlus Advocate is collaborating with the Northern Virginia Resource Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons for an ASL Social at Rock the Block in the old town of Fairfax. Buying beer and wine automatically directs 20 percent of each purchase to NVRC, providing an easy way to support the organization. The gathering includes music, chances to connect with the community, and opportunities to practice signing. ASL interpreter support will be available during the concert. Food trucks will be on site with a range of choices. Signers of all experience levels are welcome. If bad weather occurs, the event will be canceled.
