Film Break Society: Pink Floyd at Pompeii (1972)

Pink Floyd’s music reverberates through the ancient site of Pompeii in the band’s debut on cinema screens, presented at Naro Cinema. Filmed live in an empty amphitheater, the performance captures fierce energy and precise musicianship during a peak creative period. Euro-cinema veterans Willy Kurant, known for collaborations with Jean-Luc Godard, Agnes Varda, and Orson Welles, and Gábor Pogány, a frequent cinematographer for Vittorio De Sica, shape striking images that intercut the set with glowing lava, fractured statues, and haunting ruins. An in-studio segment offers a glimpse of the band working on what would become Dark Side of the Moon. The film runs 1 hour and 21 minutes. Beer and wine sales benefit Film Break Society, a nonprofit screening series focused on big-screen restorations and independent cinema.

Kickin’ It Hip-Hop Field Day

Port Norfolk sets the scene for a throwback adult field day celebrating 90s hip hop culture. Now in its second year, this Euphoric Events gathering invites teams to represent their favorite rap groups and compete for prizes, with team shirts included for participants. Expect a DJ spinning 90s tracks, friendly games and competitions, and extras like swag bags. Food and refreshments are part of the experience, including water ice and funnel cakes. Spectators are welcome to come out and rep a beloved 90s group, with inspiration from acts like Wu-Tang, TLC, OutKast, A Tribe Called Quest, Salt-N-Pepa, Bone Thugs, Missy Elliott, Fugees, Snoop Dogg, and more. Wolfmother Tickets

Wolfmother ignites the stage with a loud, high-energy set built on heavy riffs, psychedelic grooves, and anthemic hard rock that turns the crowd into a chorus. From the opening moments to big, all-in singalongs, the show surges with raw power and leaves a lasting charge. It feels less like a standard concert and more like a roaring return to raw rock energy at The NorVA. Discount codes TAKE5 and TAKE10 offer 5% off orders over $199 and 10% off orders over $349.
