    Zolita

Neumos, 925 E Pike St, Seattle · verified Oct 2
    See details

Neumos presents a stop on The Hell’s Belles Tour featuring Zolita at Neumos in Seattle. The multi-hyphenate artist brings a cinematic approach to pop, blending her NYU Tisch filmmaking background with music to craft vivid, story-driven visuals that have fueled major streaming milestones, a sold-out headline run, and a devoted audience drawn to the characters she creates. From her early viral debut and the Somebody I F*cked Once trilogy to the new Queen of Hearts era, visual storytelling remains at the heart of her work. Her forthcoming album, Queen of Hearts, celebrates queer love, joy, and authenticity while also turning inward to examine past relationships with new candor. The first single, Bloodstream, launches this chapter alongside a short film she wrote, produced, directed, and edited, inspired by the romance of former Miss Universe contestants Mariana Varela and Fabiola Valentín. The production features a female, non-binary, and LGBTQIA+ led team and co-stars Kyra Green of Love Island Games, hinting at Zolita’s feature-length ambitions. The new songs span buoyant anthems and raw confessionals. All Girls Go To Heaven champions living openly without fear, and Small Town Scandal channels her love of country and bluegrass with a fresh twist. Other tracks confront the pain of loving someone struggling with addiction, the uncertainty of relationships, and the searing reckoning captured in Grown Up. Strengthened by a deeply connected, primarily queer fan community, Zolita leans into vulnerability and purpose throughout this era. A portion of proceeds from Zolita’s fall tour will go to TAC and their work supporting LGBTQ youth across the country. This event welcomes all ages, with 21 and over for bar access. Tickets are nonrefundable except in the case of cancellation, support acts may change, and orders that exceed the published ticket limit are subject to cancellation.

    Kelsey Lu

Neumos, 925 E Pike St, Seattle · verified Oct 9
    See details

Neumos hosts Kelsey Lu in Seattle for the So Help Me God Tour, spotlighting new work that follows Blood, the baroque, cello-centered debut that first revealed a voice moving between the sacred and the sensual. The new album spans ten tracks co-produced with Jack Antonoff and Yves Rothman and mixed by Oli Jacobs, with contributions from Sampha, Kamasi Washington, Lady Jess and Kim Gordon. Instead of easy comfort, it embraces a clear reckoning, charting devotion, desire, grief and transcendence across meticulous, cinematic sound that shifts from drum and bass pulses and distorted guitars to choral swells and shadowed electronics. Studio time encouraged playful experimentation, a spark that carries into pieces like Reaper, Cutting Off the Head of a Ghost and Running To Pain. Visual inspiration draws on Caravaggio’s stark light and dark, while songs such as Only the Lonely and Portrait of a Lady On Fire explore slow-burning longing in vivid detail. Lu’s path to this chapter includes the loss of a longtime cello, a lockdown ritual of filming dawn and dusk for HYDROHARMONIA, and years of travel and spiritual practice that turned isolation into both teacher and scar. Beyond the album, Lu composes for film and collaborates across disciplines, with work on the documentaries Daughters and Earth Mama, creative partnerships with Yves Tumor, Jamie xx, Debbie Harry and Skrillex, and projects with Nan Goldin, Wu Tsang and Jacolby Satterwhite, along with collaborations with Gucci, Miu Miu and Bottega Veneta. The project also extends to a sequence of short films, including a collaboration with BAFTA-winning director Savanah Leaf starring Garance Marillier with photography by Yuma Al-Arashi. All ages are admitted. A valid ID is required to access bar areas. Doors open at the time shown on the listing and the performance typically begins about an hour later, though that timing can change without notice. Tickets are final sale unless the event is canceled. Openers may change. Purchases that exceed the posted ticket limit may be canceled without notice.

Rooted in Oaxaca and shaped by life between Mexico and the United States, she blends Mexican traditions with jazz, cumbia, folk, and contemporary sounds to create a singular voice and a compelling stage presence. Her performances honor culture and reclaim stories, turning the concert experience into something intimate and deeply human that encourages audiences to feel, dance, and remember. The spotlight is on her album Cambias mi Mundo, a return to essentials that is her most acoustic and close-up work yet, built almost entirely from original songs and including one love song that links Mexico and Portugal. A recipient of multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy awards, Downs has appeared at renowned venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and the Hollywood Bowl. She has been invited to perform at the White House and has taken the stage on the Academy Awards and Latin Grammy broadcasts. Her music has also been featured in films including The Counselor, Tortilla Soup, Real Women Have Curves, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, Carlos Saura’s Fados, Mariachi Gringo, and Hecho en Mexico. Event policies include a limit of eight tickets per person and per credit card, with orders that exceed the limit subject to cancellation without notice. All sales are final with no refunds or exchanges, and delivery methods may change. Every attendee must have a ticket regardless of age, babies in arms are not permitted, and the balcony is accessed by stairs and ramps only since there is no elevator.
