    Child Find developmental screenings

    Anacortes · Whitney Elementary, 1200 M Ave

    Free

Anacortes School District offers free developmental screenings through its Child Find program for children and young adults ages 3 to 22 when families or caregivers have concerns about learning or development. For ages 3 to 5, the screening may explore speech and language, hearing and vision, early cognitive and readiness skills, motor development, social and emotional growth, and self-help abilities. Each session takes a supportive, play-based approach to understand a child’s strengths and needs, and early identification helps connect students with appropriate support. Children younger than 3 are referred to STEPS. Screenings are available by appointment. To learn more or to schedule, contact Lora Billow at (360) 503-1446 or lbillow@asd103.org.
