    Repair Cafe

Everett Community College, 2000 Tower St, Everett
    See details

A WSU Repair Cafe at Everett Community College offers hands-on help for household items that need attention. Volunteer repair specialists assess problems, demonstrate their approach, and provide one-on-one guidance so participants can learn to make fixes themselves. If a replacement part is required, they will identify what to order, and participants are responsible for any costs. The aim is to give belongings a second life and keep usable materials out of the landfill. This free event typically supports small appliances such as toasters, blenders, and coffee makers, common issues with vacuums and lamps, toys, bicycles, basic computer software problems like storage or slow loading, clothing mending and simple hemming, simple jewelry fixes such as clasps or links, and home decor, among other items. Repairs are not guaranteed, a liability release must be signed before work begins, and organizers may decline to work on certain items based on the issue or available fixers. Cell phones and Apple products are not accepted. There is a limit of two items per person, and items are handled in order of arrival.
