Northtown Comic Book Shop hosts a Pokémon event with competitive play across age divisions. Entry is $5.99, and each participant receives a pack upon signing up. Every registration also adds a pack to the overall prize pool. The Masters division uses the Standard format, while the Juniors and Seniors divisions use the Expanded format.

Experience a calamity-laced retelling of J. M. Barrie’s Peter Pan as the blundering Cornley Drama Society attempts its most daring show on the Margot & Robert Ogden Main Stage at Spokane Civic Theatre. Over two acts, mishaps stack up fast, with balky tech, misfired flying effects, and onstage squabbles turning the journey to Neverland into a runaway comedy. Written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayers, and Henry Shields, and directed by Bryan D. Durbin and Karlin Marie Kahler, the production features Jordan Baird, Jeff Bryan, John Chapdelaine, Keith Edie, Mitch Heid, Craig Hirt, Hannah Kephart, Gary Pierce, Sarah Plumb, Heather Stephens, Ryan Wasson, and Desirae West. Rated PG. Attendance is requested for guests ages 5 and older.

Celebrating its second year in the 509, this community gathering is presented by The Street Machines Corp to raise vital funding for animals in need throughout the Spokane Inland Empire area. Attendees can look forward to food, animal, and automotive vendors, live music, a live National Anthem, a 50/50 cash raffle, a silent auction, and a pet supply sale with everything on the table priced at $5. Free entry raffle prize giveaways are planned as well. Early registrants can receive collectible goodie bags and commemorative dash plaques for the first 100 registered. The event also features the 2nd Annual Hot Wheels 100 race with digitally timed runs and a trophy for the winner. Car show winners can visit a custom photography booth for portraits with their vehicles, and Referee Photo will provide custom photography for individuals, families, and pets. Street Machines Corp merchandise will be available for purchase, including banners, hats, shirts, koozies, and more. Additional details will be announced as the event approaches.
