Family events in Kewaskum, WI

Little helpers are welcome for a playful pie making experience. This hands-on workshop features a demonstration on preparing both a flour crust and a graham cracker crust, followed by time to roll dough, mix apple and blueberry fillings, and assemble two mini pies to take home. Each adult participant receives recipe cards and a keepsake, courtesy of Regal Cookware Factory Outlet West Bend. Guests are encouraged to bring school supplies to donate in support of Boys & Girls Clubs and Casa Guadalupe. This gathering is part of a four-event series, and those who attend three or more this year will be entered to win a grand prize, courtesy of Regal Cookware Factory Outlet West Bend.

Guided by Horicon Marsh Bird Club Vice President Brad Webb and Board Member Michael Bingham, this birding outing explores Mayville’s Ziegler Park in search of early fall migrants. The park features mature woodland along the east branch of the Rock River and a 1.5 mile nature trail, with 174 species recorded on eBird. Participants will meet at the baseball field parking lot within Ziegler Park.
