Nov 22nd - 4 Mile House Chunky Knit Blanket Workshop

    Fond du Lac
    See details

Settle into a hands-on chunky knit blanket workshop designed for both first timers and seasoned knitters. Using only your hands, craft a soft, cozy blanket to take home in a blanket bag, then look for a follow up email with step by step instructions and yarn buying tips for future projects. Blanket size is up to your preferred style, from a tighter knit that can be about 45 by 42 inches to looser weaves that often turn out larger. Pre registration is required and seating is limited to 16 on a first come, first served basis. Ages 12 and up can complete a blanket independently. Two pricing options are available. The $65 option lets participants choose from the yarn colors brought to the workshop and closes two weeks prior if not sold out. The $85 option allows preselection of one or two colors in a softer, thicker premium yarn that tends to hide imperfections, with an email sent about four weeks beforehand to finalize colors, and it closes four weeks prior if not sold out. An optional $35 add on is available for anyone who would rather relax while a blanket is completed in advance and ready at the workshop, which must be purchased at least two weeks ahead and is only available with an $85 registration. For last minute changes such as illness or schedule conflicts, please reach out as soon as possible to see if accommodations can be made.
