Hope In Motion 2026 gathers the community at Marathon County Park for connection, remembrance, and meaningful action in support of mental health across North Central Wisconsin. Organized by NAMI Northwoods, the event includes a walk and raffle drawings to raise awareness, challenge stigma, strengthen suicide prevention, and stand with individuals and families affected by mental illness. Funds raised remain local to sustain free NAMI Northwoods services, including support groups, education, presentations, advocacy, and suicide awareness initiatives. Coffee will be available for purchase from the Caffeine Cruiser. Participants can register, fundraise, volunteer, or sponsor, and anyone who raises at least $100 will receive an official Hope In Motion 2026 t-shirt.

Take part in a store tournament for the ONE PIECE Card Game, where building a custom deck and facing an opponent are at the heart of the action. This event uses the Standard Constructed format, so participants bring their own decks and proxy or substitute cards are not permitted. Rounds are single-game matchups with a 35 minute limit and 5 extra minutes if needed. The entry fee is $10, and registration is handled through the Bandai TCG+ app. Choose your favorite characters and cards, shape your strategy, and put your build to the test.

Take part in a 1-on-1 standard format tournament built for quick, decisive matches. Each pairing is best of one, and one game win determines the match. Matches run 30 minutes, with 5 extra minutes reserved for additional turns if necessary. The entry fee is $10 per player, and registration is handled through the Bandai TCG+ app.

Close out Bike Week with the MOB at Rock Island Resort at a lively gig featuring barbecue, blues, and more. Scotty brings a big spread of great food for this event, with favorite beverages available.

The Annual Gala at The Landing unfolds on the third floor with an evening of live entertainment and festivities. Pianist Raymond Kraemer performs, and DJ Dilly P keeps the dance floor moving. The event includes dancing, raffles, hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar. Tickets are $60 in advance or $75 at the door. Nonmembers are welcome, including friends and family. This annual fundraiser supports the Y for All Campaign, with proceeds helping ensure no one is turned away from the Woodson YMCA due to an inability to afford fees.

Kick up your heels at a country barn dance at Rusty Moon Acres Wedding & Event Venue. DJ Quirt will spin favorite country tracks while the Wisconsin Country Line Dancers keep the floor lively, welcoming both newcomers and seasoned dancers. The Red Granite Food Truck will be on site with tasty options throughout the event. Admission is $10 at the door, and carry-ins are not permitted.

Held at the Greenheck Turner Community Center, this meeting brings together the Friends of Everest Boys Basketball Booster Club to advance support for the D.C. Everest High School Boys Basketball program at every level, from Varsity through JV3. The Booster Club also provides governance, oversight, and financial backing for the Everest Youth Boys Basketball association, helping create a unified path from youth teams to high school. EYBB offers young athletes a positive experience against appropriately matched competition, with a focus on fundamental individual and team skills and a strong commitment to sportsmanship. Conversation typically centers on strengthening fan engagement and school spirit, reinforcing sportsmanship and team unity, and enhancing the student-athlete experience with resources beyond the school district’s budget. The group also backs program development through efforts such as camps, clinics, mentoring, and collaboration with EYBB. A structured agenda keeps discussion focused. Attendance is open to parents, guardians, and community supporters aligned with the mission. Attendees may listen and share input on agenda items, while only elected board members may bring motions and vote on official business. Meetings are typically held in Room 3 of the Greenheck Turner Community Center.
