Family events in Shawano, WI

A car show connected to Gresham Fall Harvest Day features an array of vehicles, welcoming cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors, and more. A pin-up contest featuring talented ladies is part of the program. Food trucks and live music add to the festivities, and bars around town offer many food and drink specials. A craft sale is also planned. Car show registration is available, with awards presented and a road cruise to follow. Proceeds from the show benefit the D.A.V., Disabled American Veterans.

This community gathering marks the 30th celebration of the Friends of the Mt. Bay Trail and serves as the finale of a self-guided Poetry & Photography Walk. Leading up to the celebration, selected poems and photographs are displayed along roughly six miles of trail, encouraging people to read, reflect, and enjoy the route in a fresh way. A passport component offers a chance to win a prize. The culminating event includes food, a welcoming atmosphere, and activities for all ages.

Fire on High brings country and classic rock with commanding vocals and rich harmonies for an evening of music with friends.

All are welcome to a community picnic celebrating St. James Lutheran Ministries. The festivities take place in the parking lot and gymnasium and feature local bands, including The Way Christian Band and Spark, Spark, Bang. Attendees can enjoy a food truck rally, carnival games and bounce houses, along with silent auctions and raffles. More details will be shared as the event approaches.
