The Science ZoneBob Lefevre & the Already Gone | Nom De Plume | Nicholas Cantine (Pleasure People)
An intimate concert at CitiWerks Cafe & Coworking in downtown Casper spotlights three distinct perspectives in alternative folk, indie rock, and high-voltage alt country. Nationally recognized touring artists appear alongside Wyoming talent for an evening centered on potent songwriting and richly textured sound. From Laramie, Bob Lefevre & the Already Gone deliver amped-up alt country rooted in heartland narratives and muscular rock drive. Bandcamp highlighted their albums Two and In Tongues among standout country releases, and critics have praised the way the group marries vulnerability with propulsive arrangements. With a lineup of seasoned Wyoming musicians, their mix of Americana, roots rock, and widescreen guitar work feels both expansive and human. Manchester, Maryland outfit Nom De Plume is led by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Aris Karabelas with Michael Magee on bass and Jim Kopp on drums. The band folds indie rock, folk rock, Americana, and progressive influences into lush, emotionally layered songs that still carry a pop spark. Their third album, Circle The Dream, explores longing, resilience, and personal transformation through evocative writing and broad, immersive instrumentation. Casper-based artist Nicholas Cantine, the creative mind behind Pleasure People, brings an alternative folk approach shaped by dark Americana, cinematic arranging, and storytelling. Unusual instrumentation, haunting textures, and introspective lyrics lend a distinctive, moody atmosphere. Beyond performing, Cantine runs Harmonyx Audio, producing and engineering projects for artists working at the local, regional, and national level. Tickets are $25 and available online or in person at CitiWerks Cafe.

Rialto Theater (Casper, Wyoming)The Bloomery Presents: Riverside Folk
Rooted in Southern California, The Riverside began when songwriter and guitarist Jacob Jeanson formed a band during his Westmont College years, winning Santa Barbara’s battle of the bands and using the prize to record a debut album. The trio now features Jeanson with Kristen Posey on cello and harp with vocal harmonies and Chase Fierro on fiddle and mandolin with harmonies. Their folk sound pairs nostalgic storytelling with a fresh spark, often gathering around a single vintage microphone to blend voices and instruments into an intimate, organic performance. They have toured theaters, venues, festivals, and cozy house shows throughout the United States and have released eight self-produced records along with multiple EPs, with more music in the works. Casper’s Olivia Wilson opens the show. At 16, Livvy brings a pop-leaning songwriting style shaped by stories, lived experiences, and a desire to foster connection through music. Black Tooth Brewing will be on hand. Small coolers are permitted. Bring a lawn chair and dress for Wyoming’s fast-changing weather. All ticket sales are final and pets are not permitted.
