Now in its tenth year, the Matthew Sorenson Memorial Disc Golf Tournament takes place in Gillette, Wyoming as part of the West River Championship. The event supports families facing medical crises and backs EDGE, which helps grow disc golf for youth. This one day Fighting Pistol course at Gillette Gun Club focuses on advanced pistol work rather than basic shooting. Participants should already have well grounded skills drawing from a holster and operating under constraint. It is suited to experienced concealed carriers who want to advance their capabilities, as well as armed first responders and armed security working high risk assignments who want to enhance their training. Fireweed LitArts Festival at the Campbell County Public Library brings together featured and regional authors and artists for a full day of creative fun. Enjoy events including an in-conversation Q&A with bestselling author Anne Hillerman, plus programming spotlighting Craig Johnson, James Chandler’s writing workshop, and Reavis Z. Wortham.
