Now in its tenth year, the Matthew Sorenson Memorial Disc Golf Tournament takes place in Gillette, Wyoming as part of the West River Championship. The event supports families facing medical crises and backs EDGE, which helps grow disc golf for youth. This one day Fighting Pistol course at Gillette Gun Club focuses on advanced pistol work rather than basic shooting. Participants should already have well grounded skills drawing from a holster and operating under constraint. It is suited to experienced concealed carriers who want to advance their capabilities, as well as armed first responders and armed security working high risk assignments who want to enhance their training. Fireweed LitArts Festival at the Campbell County Public Library brings together featured and regional authors and artists for a full day of creative fun. Enjoy events including an in-conversation Q&A with bestselling author Anne Hillerman, plus programming spotlighting Craig Johnson, James Chandler’s writing workshop, and Reavis Z. Wortham. The festival also includes a screening of an episode of Dark Winds with a discussion afterward, along with vendors and activities for the community such as pot throwing with AVA Community Art Center, and food trucks like Dirty Brew, La Donuts, Ice Cream Cafe, and Taqueria los Plebes.

Dungeons and Dugouts presents a four event prerelease series for Magic: The Gathering The Hobbit. One session features the Two Headed Giant format. Entry includes food at each event.
