At the Juneau Arts & Culture Center (JACC) in Juneau, the inaugural Southeast Summerfest offers a full day devoted to local music, art, creativity, and community. Throughout the day, the venue features an artist market, a variety of food vendors, a community stage with local performers, and activities for all ages. Daytime programming is free for all to attend, creating a welcoming setting for community members and visitors to celebrate the creative spirit of Southeast Alaska. In the evening, the festival transitions to a ticketed concert fundraiser with performances by Taylor Vidic, Joel Forelines, Ocean View, and Dude Mtn. The concert supports the Juneau Arts & Humanities Council and showcases local and regional musicians. The fourth Walk Southeast group hike takes place in Juneau. It is intended for those tracking miles toward the trek to Ketchikan as well as anyone who would like to hike with the group. The specific trail and trailhead will be announced once selected, and there will be a meetup before the group sets out. RSVP to this event to be among the first to hear which trail is chosen.
