Now in its ninth year, Magical Christmas in the Barn offers three days devoted to holiday decor shopping across more than 5,500 square feet. Admission is free and no tickets are needed. This is not a vendor event, but an adventure in shopping for festive finds. Zach Austin hosts an open mic at Dobber's 5 Points Pub that welcomes every style and every skill level. Whether you are just getting started or have years of experience, the mic is open. Each performer is allotted up to three songs. The atmosphere emphasizes respect and community, and tipping the bartender is encouraged. It is a friendly place to meet new people, connect with potential bandmates and co-writers, and enjoy conversation with other music minded people.

Black Country, New Road is a band defined by constant reinvention and close-knit collaboration. Their debut album, For the First Time, was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and moved fluidly through jazz, post-rock and klezmer influences, followed by the top five success of Ants From Up There with its art rock and chamber pop textures. After the amicable departure of vocalist Isaac Wood, they wrote an entirely new set that became Live at Bush Hall, earning a five-star review from The Guardian. Now established as a six-piece, the group shares lead vocals and much of the songwriting among Tyler Hyde, Georgia Ellery and May Kershaw, giving their latest work a clear, unified thread. Their third studio album, Forever Howlong, produced by James Ford, draws on folk, prog, baroque pop and touches of alt rock, bringing three distinct voices together into a focused, contemporary sound that still carries the unmistakable stamp of BC,NR.
