The group returns for a jazz matinee featuring guitarist and composer Eric Essix, an artist with 29 full-length albums released over more than three decades. His body of work reflects a steady stream of contemporary jazz that explores new directions, and he has toured widely with his own band as well as serving as a sideman with dozens of A-list artists, continually refining his craft with legacy in mind. Following the 2020 release Songs From The Deep, Essix added STRiDE and My Heartbeat as his 28th and 29th albums on his Essential Recordings label, distributed by Lightyear Entertainment and Virgin Music. His music has reached the top of the smooth jazz charts multiple times.
