Finding Your Stride: A Women’s Retreat

Altoona · Stable Choice, 8 Broom Dr

Life can pull women in many directions, making it easy to lose your natural rhythm. This one-day women’s retreat at Stable Choice offers a welcoming pause to reconnect with yourself, rebuild confidence, and move ahead with greater clarity and purpose. Guided equine-assisted learning takes place on the ground, so there is no horseback riding during the program. Through reflective activities and genuine connection, participants look at what may be getting in the way of confident steps forward, explore how to lead with authenticity and deepen self-awareness, strengthen trust in personal decisions, and approach challenges with intention and resilience. In the calm presence of horses, whose steady pace offers a powerful mirror, you can notice patterns, recognize strengths, and uncover opportunities for growth while practicing a more confident and authentic way of moving through life. The day includes mindfulness and meditation with horses led by Leslie from HAWK Equine Assisted Learning, horse-assisted self-discovery sessions with Jessica from Stable Choice, a walk and talk focused on self-awareness in motion, and a closing reflection. Coffee and breakfast sweets are provided. Lunch with an entrée and drink is included, and snacks such as chips and cookies are available. Attendance is limited to 8 women. The fee is 200 dollars for the day. An optional horseback riding outing in Guntersville is available separately, and participants are responsible for any associated costs.
