At Red Mountain Park, this trail meet offers six paced groups so everyone can find a comfortable stride and the right level of challenge. The fast group covers about 6 to 7 miles at roughly an 8 minute pace for a continuous effort. An intermediate option runs about 5 miles near a 10 minute pace with a quick regroup. Another choice, the fast fun group, goes about 4.5 miles at an 11 to 12 minute pace, steady and social without turning it into a race. For a more relaxed run, the fun group moves about 4 miles at around a 12 minute pace, running flats and descents, walking climbs, and regrouping as needed. Newer runners or anyone seeking an easier outing can opt for the beginner group at about 3 miles and near a 12 minute pace with additional breaks, mixing walking on hills with easy running on the flats. A walk and hike group covers roughly 2.75 miles at a brisk pace, sometimes staying on the flat BMRR South Trail and other times exploring the old mines and the Ike Maston area for a bit of elevation. Group leaders and sweepers help participants choose the best fit and make sure no one is left behind.

Every attendee will need a valid ticket to enter. The event is recommended for ages 10 and older, and tickets will be made available to the public during a general onsale window.

Before the tournament, attendees can meet the jousters and explore the vendor tent area, where mini games and prizes add to the excitement. The pre-Joust Keg Battle returns as the bottom eight jousters compete to set their seeding ahead of the main tournament. On the brewery dock, a designated section will be reserved for sponsors, with fencing used to clearly define spaces, while the remainder of the dock stays open to general admission. Volunteers wearing event shirts will be available to answer questions and help with directions.
