Intermediate runners take on five 1K repetitions with 90 seconds of standing rest, keeping the pace honest across all reps. Back by popular demand, this workshop teaches how to make watercolor paints using plants and earth pigments. Learn methods to draw color from natural materials, convert those colors into pigment, and mull them into paints ready for creative use. Participants make and take home a set of three half pans of handmade natural watercolors that offer both subtle and vibrant tones.

Every child picks a pumpkin to take home, sourced from Lyon Family Farms. The 1949 Southern Railway Pullman Sleeper Coach 2006 adds a vintage touch to the experience, and no food or beverages are served during this short ride. Regular coach tickets are $20 per person. Infants in arms under 12 months are $10 and do not require a seat. A VIP option in Coach 2006 is available, with roomettes at $50 for up to two people and suites at $150 for up to six people, with a maximum of four adults. Since its start, the event has provided hundreds of complimentary haircuts alongside haircare education, distributed tens of thousands of dollars in products and resources, welcomed more than 2,300 attendees, and raised nearly $100,000 to benefit children and families in Madison County. The day brings together barbers, stylists, community partners, volunteers, caregivers, and supporters for family-friendly fun and care.
