Partnership's 2nd Annual Spring Soirée Fundraiser
Taking place at Redstone Federal Credit Union at Twickenham Center, this spring-themed live auction supports Partnership for a Drug-Free Community. Attendees can bid on a variety of items and experiences, sample refreshments and finger foods, and enjoy a bright seasonal atmosphere. Tickets are $5 per person, and spring brunch attire is encouraged. All proceeds help advance efforts to address substance use disorder and to deliver youth tobacco and vaping prevention programs that educate and empower young people to make healthy choices, benefiting local youth and families.

At the Kids Classroom in South Huntsville Library, teens ages 12 to 18 can take part in a free creative session featuring origami butterfly making. All supplies are included, no experience is needed, and the project is taught for any skill level. A different craft or activity is available every Wednesday to keep the spring creativity going.

At Huntsville Madison County Public Library, Madison Public Library, this Earth Day gathering features two educational sessions and opportunities to connect with community groups making a difference. Author Heather L. Montgomery leads an engaging exploration of women in science, encouraging students to ask questions, sharing stories of perseverance, and highlighting discoveries that reshaped understanding of the world. Master Naturalist Beth Girard follows with a hands-on program about the snakes that call Alabama home, explaining how a seemingly simple body hides complex inner workings and offering a chance to handle live reptiles. Presented in partnership with Madison Greenways and Trails.

Green Team is organizing a community cleanup at Bud Cramer Park and the surrounding area for Earth Day. Participants will gather at Bud Cramer Park.
