The City of Tuscaloosa Farmers Market takes place at the Tuscaloosa River Market and operates rain or shine. Shoppers can browse Sweet Grown Alabama seasonal produce, baked goods, artisan crafts, and USDA processed meats. With a roster of more than 60 vendors, there is always a broad selection to explore. Free parking is available next to the Riverwalk, with accessible parking located near the River Market building.

Alabama Championship 2026 brings competitors together at Bryant Conference Center for a full slate of cube events. Participants can compete in 3x3, 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, 3x3 blindfolded, 3x3 one-handed, Clock, Megaminx, Pyraminx, Skewb, and Square-1. The field is limited to 200 competitors.

Explore multiple play areas that include a tire hill, hay play, swings, a climbing web, a jumping pillow, a corn crib, a 50-foot super slide, and duck races. There is also a fiberglass cow for pretend milking, rat racers, and water features that include a pool and splash pad. Catch-and-release fishing is available and guests should bring their own pole. Rides included with the full-play experience feature wagon rides and the cow train, and pony rides are available for a $5 fee. Outside food is welcome, and snacks, drinks, and candy are sold on site. A weekday limited-play option is listed at $12 plus tax and does not include the wagon ride or cow train. Children under one are not charged.

NAMI Tuscaloosa hosts a monthly education and support meeting for individuals and families affected by mental illness. The gathering is held in person at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit and is also available via Zoom. It is free and open to the public. Each meeting features an educational presentation on a mental health topic, a community resource, or a lived experience. After the talk, participants break into peer-led support groups, with one group for family members and another for people living with a mental health condition. Attendees can expect a relaxed, welcoming setting with open discussion, shared experiences, free printed materials, and light refreshments when available. NAMI Tuscaloosa is the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, working to improve the lives of people and families impacted by mental illness through education, support, and advocacy.

Gear up for a blind draw cornhole tournament at Moose Lodge #804 in Tuscaloosa.
