Designed for babies ages 0 to 23 months and their caregivers, this playful session features music, movement, books, and interactive play for family fun. Caregivers are encouraged to participate alongside their little ones, modeling excitement about reading and learning during a time created just for them. Children under 2 are especially likely to enjoy and benefit from this fun weekly activity, which nurtures early literacy and a love of learning.

This lively storytime blends a story with music, guided movement, and rhymes to nurture early literacy, rhythm, motor development, and social skills in young children. Wear comfortable, secure footwear to move safely during the activities. Geared toward ages 3 to 5. Registration is not required.

Created for those who cannot make weekday story times, this weekend session features stories along with crafts and activities. It is suitable for children of all ages, and younger attendees may need adult assistance during hands-on parts. All materials are provided and no registration is required. Experience Caribbean rhythms at a returning reggae celebration highlighted by a strong artist roster. Headliners include Turbulence of Jamaica and Culture featuring Kenyatta Hill, with HR from Bad Brains performing with Lion Heights. The lineup continues with Lion Heights from Austin, Yard Squad from St. Louis, The Band from Little Rock, Butterfly, and more. DJ Nick Hud keeps the music flowing, and Sonta Jean, the Koky Queen, hosts. Families can look forward to free entry for children 12 and under and a dedicated Kids Zone. Expect food plus arts and crafts vendors, and tickets are available.
