This weekend in Paragould, AR

An in-store Halloween event celebrates pets who enjoy wearing costumes. Costumed companions can pose for photos and receive treats during the festivities.

The group meets at the church to kick off a festive hayride, then gathers around a cozy bonfire for a classic wiener roast. Enjoy toasted marshmallows, hot cider, and bobbing for apples. Open to all.

At Legacy Athletics, kids ages 5 to 12 can enjoy a Halloween-themed evening filled with games, bounce houses, and gym activities, plus a spooky, kid-appropriate movie. Popcorn will be available. Admission is $20 per child with preregistration or $25 at the door. Space is limited.

Play! Pokemon League kicks off with an opening session focused on welcoming participants. The beginning of the event is set aside for player registration so organizers can add participants for attendance tracking, followed by matches once signups are complete. Because this is the first league meeting, check-in may take a bit longer than usual.

Gamers' Haven LLC in Jonesboro hosts a sealed prerelease where each player builds a minimum 40 card deck from a prerelease kit containing six packs. Decks are not restricted to two colors and may include any number of copies of a single card. The event runs for three rounds, each played best of three with a 60 minute time limit. Every participant receives two packs at the end.
