This event features certified 13.1, 10K, and 5K courses that start and finish at NEA Baptist Hospital, with a blend of rolling hills and flat sections. Courses will be clearly marked with volunteers along the way, and police will be present at busy intersections while also leading the half marathon. The half marathon has a 3.5 hour time limit, equal to a 16 minute per mile pace, and participants not maintaining that pace may be asked to leave the course. Half marathon and 10K participants must register as runners. The 5K offers separate running and walking categories, and anyone registered as a walker must walk the entire distance. Runners and walkers should choose the appropriate category to keep the competition fair. Updates and any changes will be shared on the Heart and Sole Half Marathon 5K 10K Facebook page.

Drag Drive Repeat brings Short Circuit 2026, presented by Deatschwerks, to the storied George Ray’s Wildcat Dragstrip for an eighth mile showcase of racing and road action. The format blends on-track competition with a roughly 100 mile drive, then a return to the strip for more racing. A field of 100 cars is planned, and George Ray’s will also run an Outlaw Small Tire race. Six classes will compete over the eighth mile, including You VS You, Tailgate, 6.50 Index, Stick Shift, Power Adder, and All Motor. An invite-only, 32 car heads-up drag-and-drive feature inspired by Back to the Streets rounds out the card. Racer entry is limited.
