AMFA provides the backdrop for Wednesday night gatherings throughout the summer.

Port City Blues Society hosts a longstanding weekly blues jam in historic downtown Pine Bluff, created to honor and keep alive the area’s authentic Delta blues heritage. The gathering is free, open to the public, and centered on participation, welcoming musicians from near and far to step on stage and play. The Port City Blues Players serve as the house band, with a rotating mix of guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers, vocalists, and others at a range of experience levels contributing. The setting at RJ’s Sports Grill & Bar is casual, family friendly, and completely smoke free, with both food and bar service, and the atmosphere stays relaxed and inclusive so everyone can connect around live blues. As a member supported nonprofit, Port City Blues Society strengthens a vibrant grassroots community by promoting and advancing blues as a uniquely American art form, supporting live performances through concerts, jams, and festivals, and engaging the broader community through education and charitable efforts.
RJ's Sports Grill & BarMoments in Science: Erosion with Mrs. Frances
This summer reading story time and craft session welcomes children up to age 12. Participants will explore how wind and water shape the earth, then try a simple water experiment to model soil erosion. A sweet layered treat that resembles soil will also be made.

Kick off your visit by picking up a passport card near Club Pilates at Midtowne Little Rock, then stop by each participating business to taste complimentary bites or grab a giveaway and collect a stamp at every location. Once your card is filled, turn it in to be entered into a prize drawing for a chance to win a $100 gift card to your choice of the participating businesses. Current participants include Brighton Collectibles, Chico’s, Club Pilates, LensCrafters, LOFT, and Pei Wei Asian Kitchen. The lineup may be updated. You do not have to be present to win.
