    Grip NWA Oct 24th AutoX

Fayetteville · Drake Field, 311 W Ernest Lancaster Dr

An autocross day at Drake Field invites drivers to test their skills on a timed course. New participants are welcome, and nearly any car can take part. Runs are against the clock rather than wheel to wheel, so you can learn the layout at your own pace with tips available from seasoned drivers. Driver registration is $60 and includes the gate fee. Check-in takes place at the main tent, followed by a drivers meeting before runs begin. Spectators are welcome, with a $5 cash gate fee for adults, while children 12 and under enter free. Because the venue is an active airport, secure any pop-ups or umbrellas, dispose of trash in the provided cans, and keep dogs on a leash. Bringing a chair is recommended so you can settle in and enjoy a full day of driving and watching at Drake Field.

Flexing Down 49 Tour - Creekside

Farmington · Creekside Park, 21 Candace St

The Flexing Down 49 Tour brings a PDGA sanctioned Flex Start C-Tier stop to Creekside Disc Golf Course in Farmington, Arkansas. Players will earn tour points from their round rating at this stop, working toward a chance to compete for large payouts at the finale event. The official leaderboard and complete rules will be announced. All competitors must check in with the Tournament Director before teeing off. The TD will set cards and review course rules. Players who begin a round without TD confirmation risk disqualification without a refund. Registration is available online or on-site, with online preregistration encouraged. Cash, card, and Venmo are accepted on-site. Online preregistration completed by the stated deadline includes entry into Closest-To-The-Pin challenges. The entry fee is $30, with $17 going to the event purse, $8 to fees, and $5 allocated to the Tour Finale payout. There is an optional $5 ace pot. Players entered in the ace pot who hit a hole in one during competition share the pot if multiple aces are hit, and if no aces are hit it carries over to the next Arkansas Flex Start stop. For payouts, $17 from each entry funds the purse. The top 45 percent of each division is paid using the PDGA payout scale. Pro divisions are paid in cash or digitally after play concludes. Amateur divisions receive merchandise credit redeemable at the on-site Disc Golf Dojo pro shop. Once all rounds are finished, payout details will be posted to Disc Golf Scene and credit can be redeemed the day of the event or at a future Disc Golf Dojo event. Amateur credit expires two years after it is awarded. An additional Flex Start Doubles runs alongside this stop. Doubles is unsanctioned, with Pro and Am divisions. Teams register once for both players by listing both names under a single entry, and doubles has its own ace pot. Teams keep score through a UDisc event. Payout goes to the top third of each division, with Pros paid in cash and Ams receiving store credit.
