Casa de la Cultura Mexicana marks the twelfth year of its Día de Muertos celebration at Luther George Park in Springdale, Arkansas. The festival offers an arts and crafts area, food and craft vendors, and more than six live performances by local Latino artists from NWA, highlighting Mexican and Latin music. The lineup features Flor Morena, Sensación Latina, Marcy Chávez X Co Jackie, Chinelos Morelenses Unidos en Arkansas, Ritmos de Colombia, Ballet Folklorico Sol Azteca, Duo Divinas, and Mariachi Los Potrillos. Leading up to the celebration, community programming includes art and craft workshops, a community ofrenda at the park, and altar building. Free and open to all ages, the gathering welcomes everyone to experience, observe, and take part in the celebration and its workshops. Rooted in a long-standing Mexican and Mexican American religious tradition that blends pre-Columbian practices with Catholic customs, Día de los Muertos honors loved ones who have passed and is observed across Mexico and many Latin American communities in connection with the Catholic Holy Days of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

During this distribution, groceries are provided only to clients who have placed an order in advance and reserved a pickup window. Pickups take place at the Sam’s Furniture Parking Lot, and the Siloam Springs OrderAhead schedule follows the second Friday of each month. To request food, submit an online order, choose a 15 minute pickup window, add items to your cart, and complete checkout using an email address or phone number. Include full names and accurate contact information so your order can be processed. Only one order per household is filled each week. If you are picking up for additional households, each household must place its own order with its own contact details, select the same pickup time, and note the name of the person who will pick up. Along with the items you select, meat and often produce are included on distribution day as available. After ordering, watch for a confirmation email with your scheduled pickup time and location details, and check spam or junk folders if it does not appear. If plans change, cancel as soon as possible because orders are pre-packed for convenience. If an order is missed, the team will attempt to contact you to offer another pickup opportunity. Missing two orders without cancelling will lead to loss of OrderAhead access, though Mobile Pantry distributions are still available. For additional help, consider Mobile Pantry options in nearby cities. Siloam Springs also hosts a Mobile Pantry at Community Christian Fellowship on the fourth Friday of each month, and no online order is required for that distribution. Loop de Loop returns to Bella Vista with multiple ride options, a dedicated hiking route, and finish-line festivities, all focused on building new trail for the community. For the first time, this traditionally free gathering includes a registration fee, and every dollar goes directly to the professional construction of a new green trail on the west side of Bella Vista. This is structured as a ride rather than a race, encouraging personal challenge, mutual support, and a shared experience on local singletrack. There are several cycling distances and e-bike categories, and there is no requirement to cover 50 miles to take part. Riders and hikers are encouraged to choose the option that matches their preparation and experience. The Megaloop covers roughly 65 miles with more than 6,400 feet of climbing and added technical mileage for experienced, well-prepared participants seeking a demanding day. The Classic Loop de Loop spans about 50 miles with around 5,500 feet of climbing through Tunnel Vision and Back 40, delivering the original, rigorous experience. The Tunnel Vision Loop is approximately 28 miles with over 3,000 feet of climbing, combining punchy climbs, switchbacks, and rewarding descents at a shorter distance than the Classic. The Back 40 Loop is about 22 miles with more than 2,000 feet of climbing, offering a memorable tour of classic Northwest Arkansas singletrack without the longer commitment. The Mini Loop is approximately 16 miles with around 1,500 feet of climbing and provides a shorter but meaningful outing on Bella Vista trails with a rewarding finish. The Mini Loop does not include an aid station, so participants must carry their own hydration, nutrition, and essential supplies. Hike de Loop covers approximately 13.2 miles through It’ll Bluff Out, Blowing Springs, and Back 40, giving hikers a way to share the challenge and finish-line experience while supporting the same project. Registration directly funds the proposed Lago Vista West extension, which is planned to add about 5,000 linear feet of professionally designed and constructed green beginner-tech-flow trail with sustainable grades and drainage, approachable flow, predictable sightlines, and professionally built creek bridges. The goal is to create a welcoming progression opportunity on Bella Vista’s west side that helps newer riders and families build confidence while remaining enjoyable and durable. FAST will not retain any portion of registration fees for organizational operations.
