Intro to TRE- Learn how to activate your own healing!

This introductory session explores Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises, a method that uses a series of movements to encourage a natural tremor in the muscles. This response helps release deep patterns of stress, tension, and trauma, settling the nervous system and supporting a return to balance. The approach is grounded in the view, supported by research, that stress and trauma are both psychological and physical. Created by Dr. David Berceli, an international expert in trauma intervention and conflict resolution, TRE has reached many thousands of people around the world. The gentle shaking often feels soothing, and many participants report a sense of peace and well-being afterward. Parents and spouses seeking more patience, survivors of violence or accidents, soldiers living with PTSD, athletes, and anyone interested in building resilience and feeling better may find this practice helpful. Learn what TRE is, how it works, and who it can serve in a safe, controlled setting.

Volunteers & Community Support Needed

Arizona Prison Stops Nothing is organizing its inaugural park gathering for families impacted by incarceration, with a focus on creating a meaningful and enjoyable day. Planned activities include making matching bracelets at a memory station to honor loved ones, face painting, a bounce house play area, and arts and crafts with coloring. Families can capture moments at a photo booth and share messages of support on a dedicated wall and ribbon tree. The day also features family games such as relay and sack races, a reading corner with storytime for kids, and a food and refreshment area. A 50/50 raffle along with a basket auction will help raise funds for families in need, and resource and information booths will connect attendees with support and advocacy services. The organizers are seeking volunteers, community members, and supporters to help with setting up activity tables, assisting children with crafts, running games, serving food and drinks, supporting the raffle and auction, and providing general event assistance. Donations of supplies, creation of auction baskets, and hosted booths are also welcome. The purpose of the event is to bring families together, support children, honor incarcerated loved ones, and strengthen community for those who have been affected.
