Music in the Park is a free public concert series at Bluebird Park featuring live performances for the community. The lineup includes tributes to Prince and Amy Winehouse, soulful vocals from Lola Kristine, indie surf salsa by Spencer the Gardner, and American roots music from Rose’s Pawn Shop. Low-profile beach chairs are welcome. Dogs are not allowed in the park, smoking is prohibited, drones are not permitted, and merchandise may not be displayed or sold. Alcohol is allowed for guests 21 and older only when paired with a full meal. Solicitation is not permitted at City events.

Candlelight transforms the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach into an intimate setting where 90s hip hop is reimagined on strings beneath a warm candlelit glow. The program features medleys honoring Fugees and Lauryn Hill, Jay-Z, Nas, Outkast, Missy 'Misdemeanor' Elliott, A Tribe Called Quest, Wu-Tang Clan, 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., and Dr. Dre, with selections that include Ready or Not, Doo-Wop, Fu-Gee-La, Killing Me Softly, Can I Get A..., Big Pimpin, Money Ain't a Thing, It Ain't Hard to Tell, N.Y. The concert runs 60 minutes, doors open 45 minutes beforehand, and entry is closed once the performance begins. Guests must be at least 8 years old, and anyone under 16 must attend with an adult. The venue is ADA compliant, and seating within each zone is assigned on a first come, first served basis. Three stages feature live music, artist demos highlight techniques up close, free art classes invite hands-on creativity, and local food and beverages round out the day. For more than six decades, this longstanding Laguna Beach tradition has grown into a vibrant creative community where art, culture, and connection thrive all summer long.

The Storytellers bring their progressive bluegrass to the Sawdust Art Festival with a series of alternating half-hour sets on The Deck, leaving time between performances to explore artisan booths filled with standout arts and crafts. Since 1967, this festival has celebrated individuality and creativity, showcasing work by more than a thousand local artists in a lively, imaginative setting. A fixture in Southern California’s roots scene, the band blends traditional bluegrass, country blues, old-time and folk into improvisational arrangements with resonant vocal harmonies. Their self-described hippie bluegrass vibe combines soulful storytelling, nuanced acoustic interplay and uplifting grooves. The Storytellers have appeared at events including the Huck Finn Jubilee, Calico Bluegrass Festival, Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival and Desert Bluegrass Festival. Highlights include headlining the Prescott Bluegrass Festival, sharing the stage with Peter Rowan at the Brookdale Bluegrass Festival, recurring sets at June Lake Jam Fest and performances at large county fairs throughout Southern California. They also held a year-long residency at Treasure Island Casino and Resort in Las Vegas and became the first bluegrass-style band to perform on a premier NAMM stage. The trio features Scott Diehl on guitar and vocals, Lance Frantzich on bass and vocals, and Steve Stelmach on washboard and percussion. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors ages 65 and up and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Children ages 5 and under are admitted free and do not need a ticket.

The summer concert series concludes with a Sunset Lawn performance by country artist Teddy Robb, paired with ocean views and food and drink specials. Seating is first come, first served, with a limited number of chairs available and plenty of lawn space, and personal lawn chairs are welcome. Doors open one hour before showtime. Complimentary valet is available with validation from a food and beverage outlet, and outside food and drinks are not permitted. Teddy Robb brings a soulful voice and candid storytelling shaped by time in Nashville honky tonks, hails from Akron, Ohio, and has surpassed 100 million streams with national media attention and appearances alongside top country acts. His shows balance heartfelt ballads with high energy moments that keep audiences engaged. Tickets include general admission at $25. VIP options include a cocktail table package for four at $250 with admission for four, a private table, and four drink tickets for use at bars on the concert lawn, as well as couch seating packages for five at $400 or six at $500, each including admission for the group and the same number of drink tickets.

Throughout the season the music spans high-energy DJ sets, crowd favorites, mellow jazz, and heartfelt vocals, offering something new each week. North Mississippi Allstars take the stage at Ivan’z House Live with their Modern Mississippi Music, a boundary-pushing blend that has earned multiple Grammy nominations. Years of touring have brought them alongside Phil Lesh, Mavis Staples, Robert Plant, John Hiatt, the Allman Brothers, the Black Crowes, Buddy Guy, Snoop Dogg, and Jon Spencer. Ticket options include Reserved Table Seating with seats at a table, General Admission that provides entry without a guaranteed seat or table, and a VIP Booth directly in front of the stage for up to six people for a single flat fee. Pacific Symphony brings a symphonic celebration of ABBA to Great Park Live, featuring ARRIVAL from Sweden with guest conductor Evan Roider. The tribute ensemble teams up with the orchestra for favorites like Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Fernando, Waterloo, and more. Part of SummerFest 2026 presented by City of Hope Orange County, the show pairs colorful costumes and spirited choreography with lush orchestral arrangements for a vibrant night in the open air.

Admission is $20 and the show is open to all ages. Journey USA delivers a faithful recreation of Journey’s classic 70s and 80s era, led by a vocalist who once provided studio vocals for Steve Perry during his solo work. The lineup also includes a guitarist who wrote and performed on multiple hits for the Grammy-nominated band Great White in the MTV era, a drummer who toured with Great White, a veteran keyboardist formerly with The Babys, and the driving bass of Jeffrey Bretz. With a focus on audience interaction and high energy, the band performs favorites like Don’t Stop Believin’, Open Arms, Separate Ways, and Any Way You Want It with striking accuracy. A narrated, multimedia production with video and special effects enhances the show, creating a throwback to the height of classic rock. Since forming, the group has entertained thousands at casinos, fairs, theaters, festivals, private events, and corporate gatherings, and in 2022 began a long-term engagement with Royal Caribbean to perform for international audiences at sea.
