    The Storytellers bring their progressive bluegrass to the Sawdust Art Festival with a series of alternating half-hour sets on The Deck, leaving time between performances to explore artisan booths filled with standout arts and crafts. Since 1967, this festival has celebrated individuality and creativity, showcasing work by more than a thousand local artists in a lively, imaginative setting. A fixture in Southern California’s roots scene, the band blends traditional bluegrass, country blues, old-time and folk into improvisational arrangements with resonant vocal harmonies. Their self-described hippie bluegrass vibe combines soulful storytelling, nuanced acoustic interplay and uplifting grooves. The Storytellers have appeared at events including the Huck Finn Jubilee, Calico Bluegrass Festival, Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival and Desert Bluegrass Festival. Highlights include headlining the Prescott Bluegrass Festival, sharing the stage with Peter Rowan at the Brookdale Bluegrass Festival, recurring sets at June Lake Jam Fest and performances at large county fairs throughout Southern California. They also held a year-long residency at Treasure Island Casino and Resort in Las Vegas and became the first bluegrass-style band to perform on a premier NAMM stage. The trio features Scott Diehl on guitar and vocals, Lance Frantzich on bass and vocals, and Steve Stelmach on washboard and percussion. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors ages 65 and up and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Children ages 5 and under are admitted free and do not need a ticket.

Ticket options include a Reserved Stage Center one-day pass for adults at $155, which reflects a $150 base price plus a $5 fee. General Admission Plaza and Loge one-day passes are $80 for adults, $55 for students, and $55 for children, each reflecting the base price plus a $5 fee. Two-day packages are available with a 15 percent discount for adults in Reserved at $265 and in General Admission at $137.50, and General Admission packages for students and children at $110, with totals reflecting the base price plus a $10 fee.
