This twice-monthly drop-in group practice centers on Relatefulness, blending elements of meditation and authentic relating to focus on what is alive in the moment between participants. Together, the group brings attention to relational patterns, emotions, physical sensations, and other facets of experience. By voicing what they notice and hearing others do the same, participants work toward seeing one another and the broader social dynamic with greater clarity. The approach is closely related to Circling, Authentic Relating, and T-Group. Relatefulness can complement traditional meditation by turning awareness toward self in connection with others. It offers space to experiment with new and more satisfying ways of relating, to try out personal growth insights in real time, and to experience the healing of being deeply seen and understood. Because the practice can touch the edges of what feels manageable, participants are encouraged to care for themselves, step back if needed, or suggest a different way for the group to be together. Facilitation is led by Josh Rosenberg and Daniel Ricciardelli. Josh is certified through the Relateful Company, has led weekly sessions for a small group over two years, and continues to develop his craft through retreats and collaboration with other facilitators. Current influences include Ego Development Theory, madhyamaka philosophy, and Brazilian zouk. He is known for a steady and compassionate presence with calibrated relational risk taking, and works as a machine learning researcher at the intersection of mental health and AI.

A supportive group mat Pilates hour with props led by Keri unfolds at Spire Church in West Oakland. All levels and all bodies are welcome. Expect focused work on mobility, stability, strengthening, and release, with personalized modifications or added challenges as needed.
