Led by Fresno Poet Laureate Aideed Medina, the group will take part in guided nature walking, guided poetry, and conversation to help participants connect with the river. Using the Indigenous poetry practice of Flor y Canto, you’ll create poems and have a chance to share them with the community.

Sunday 8-Hour CCW Renewal Course

This 8-hour, state-mandated CCW renewal course covers the basic skills, knowledge, and California laws for safely carrying a handgun. The class runs in one day, and you will need to complete your required shooting BEFORE the 8-hour course to receive your certificate that day. Course attire requirements include closed-toe shoes and a full-collar shirt. Tuition is $150 per shooter, plus a $25 range fee (waived for members). A 48-hour cancellation notice is required for a full refund; otherwise, only half of the tuition will be refunded.
