With decades of hits, tight horns, and feel-good grooves, this concert brings funk and soul to the forefront. Tickets start at $25. See details

Diles que no me maten teams up with Phantom Fruit for a performance at Tower Theatre. The Mexico City quintet, founded in 2017 by brothers Raúl and Gerardo Ponce, builds songs from free-flowing improvisation, merging krautrock pulses with taut art rock, blues-kissed ballads, and a sense of lyrical mysticism. Their fourth release, Escrito en Agua (Writ in Water), moves toward a more focused and approachable sound while keeping their exploratory spirit at the center. Onstage, Raúl drives the drums, Gerardo handles guitar, Andrés Lupone anchors the bass, Jerónimo Elizondo-García moves between guitar and clarinet, and Jonás Derbez adds vocals and saxophone, tracing a path from the raw spark of the 2020 EP Cayó de su Gloria el Diablo and the LP Edificio to the evolving energy of La Vida de Alguien Más and its flowing follow-up, Obrigaggi.
