In the late Victorian period, new towns sprang up with the momentum of the gold rush and the railroad. Ambitious entrepreneurs built businesses that transformed the rural area north of Anaheim into a prosperous community named for George Fullerton, and many believe traces of their presence remain. Haunted Orange County’s seventh tour shares the historic and darker tales of this energetic college town, where grand theaters and local restaurants are said to harbor echoes of the past. During a 90-minute walk through downtown streets and hidden alleys, hear about spectral actors and lingering phantoms that add a mysterious layer to Fullerton’s story. Comfortable shoes are recommended, along with a curiosity for the macabre.
