Sama Sama Summertime Filipino-inspired Dinner

Hosted by Chef Rich and Eric, this pop-up dinner at Da Good Vibes in Union City presents five Filipino-inspired courses that use seasonal ingredients, sourced locally when possible. The meal blends traditional dishes with courses that reflect the experience of growing up Filipino in the United States. The menu is priced at $75. Appetizers include chicken lumpia filled with seasoned ground chicken and diced vegetables served with a spiced vinegar dip, along with a summer salad. Family style mains feature chicken relleno made with hollowed drumsticks stuffed with ground chicken and pork plus pickled quail egg, carrots, celery, and onions. Lechon carajay offers smoked then roasted crispy pork belly with a spiced tamari and citrus dipping sauce and a kabocha squash bagoong puree. Another main showcases crispy pandan battered Scottish salmon paired with calamansi and roasted garlic aioli. Sides include shrimp chips, atchara with pickled sweet peppers, carrots, and onions, and java rice infused with turmeric and coconut. Dessert brings ube bibingka with flan, combining a coconut rice cake infused with ube, toasted coconut, and a coconut flan finished with lambanog brulee.

Free Kids Activities at the Farmers' Market - POP Club🌱

Designed for kids and families who frequent the Dublin Farmers' Market, the POP Club offers free, interactive activities that help children learn where food comes from, how it is grown, and why choosing fresh, local produce matters. Each week features a different theme, from building a rainbow-inspired plate while exploring the colorful benefits of fruits and vegetables, to tracing the journey food takes from farm to market, to tasting seasonal produce and comparing fresh and dried varieties while learning about preservation, to discovering practical ways to reduce food waste and appreciate imperfect produce. Families with children ages 12 and under are welcome, and a parent or guardian must remain with participating children.
