Bankhead Theater hosts Menopause The Musical®, the global hit comedy that has entertained more than 17 million people. The show follows four women who meet while bargain hunting at a lingerie sale and quickly connect over shared experiences. With playful parodies of favorite songs from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, the production finds humor in hot flashes, mood swings, memory blips, sleepless nights, changing bodies, and the everyday moments that bring women together through every stage of life. It is a warm, feel-good celebration of friendship and sisterhood for anyone navigating The Change, remembering it, or simply looking for a lively musical comedy.

A blend of country charm and sparkle sets the tone for a Dolly Parton themed singalong and painting experience. Ten percent of each seat benefits Dolly’s Imagination Library, and anyone who dresses like Dolly receives 10 percent off their drink tab. Hosted at Pinot’s Palette Livermore, this creative night out is suited for date nights, friends, families, or anyone looking for something fun to do. Local artists guide the painting from start to finish, and no prior experience is required. While you paint, choose from wine, craft beer, cocktails, mocktails, and appetizers from the full bar and kitchen. Arriving 30 minutes early allows you to add a DIY all natural soy candle activity for $20, so you leave with a custom candle along with your finished artwork. All painting materials are provided. The studio welcomes participants ages 6 and up, with some events tailored to specific age groups. Every attendee must have a paid seat, and outside food or beverages are not permitted.

This annual Pops concert, sponsored by the Symphony Guild, takes place on the lawn outside Bankhead Plaza on an autumn afternoon. Admission is free, and donations will be collected. All contributions support the Symphony.
