Knyght Ryder / Summer at the Shell Tuesdays
Knyght Ryder delivers a high-energy mix of 80s and 90s favorites at the historic bandshell in Recreation Park as part of the Summer at the Shell Tuesdays concert series. Expect New Wave and pop rock classics that create a fun, family-friendly atmosphere in Long Beach. Seating options include more than 600 permanent bench seats near the stage, along with expansive lawn areas ideal for picnics on blankets or in low-back lawn chairs. The venue is next to the dinosaur playground, making it convenient for families with children. Arriving early is a good idea since bench seating is first come, first served. Parking is available around Recreation Park and near Blair Field, and many people choose to walk or bike. The series is presented by the volunteer-based nonprofit Live at The Shell and supported by the Port of Long Beach, Kristina Duggan District 3 Councilmember, Janice Hahn 4th District L.A. County Supervisor, the Zaferia Business District, Snoofla Sound, and music lovers.

Alfredo’s Beach Club’s Moonlight Movies on the Beach, presented by LBS Financial, offers a free outdoor screening by the shore. Food trucks will have dinner, snacks, and popcorn available for purchase. Bring low-back beach chairs and towels and enjoy it with family and friends.
