Shoreline Village brings back a free weekend concert series that runs from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Live bands and DJs perform at the Off Boardwalk Theater located by the Funnel House, featuring a wide range of styles that include R&B, funk, cumbia, roots reggae, rock en Español, top 40, pop, blues, 80s and 90s favorites, Caribbean sounds, dance music, rebel country, and honky tonk. The season showcases area talent such as Sarah Daye, Michael Haggins, DJ Rome, Catfish and the Hollywood Hound Dogs, Upstream, Thieves Like Us, the Michael Physick Band, Harbor Groove, Intent, JLB, Smooth, Reaction Band, Sugarlips, Moving in Stereo, Rory Seldon, Illunis, So Rad, Idellix, Pop Vision, In the Red, Natasha Remi, As IF, The Ponderosa Aces, Jah Faith, and DJ Impeccable Styles. Admission is free and tickets are not required. Parking fees apply with rates posted upon entry, and discounted parking is available with validation from participating shops or restaurants. This monthly community cleanup focuses on the Bixby Highland neighborhood. Volunteers meet in front of Bixby Knolls Christian Church. Participants can get some exercise, meet new friends, and make a difference. All cleanup gear is provided, donuts are available, and first-time participants receive a free t-shirt and whistle.
