Temptation features Night Crickets members David J of Love and Rockets and Bauhaus and Victor DeLorenzo of Violent Femmes, with solo artist Darwin Meiners on lead vocals and guitar. Their Peter Hook counterpart, Pinky, hails from Manchester, and the performance centers on signature songs from both New Order and Joy Division, performed with close attention to the original sound. Cactus to Clouds

Designed for seasoned hikers, this strenuous point-to-peak adventure covers roughly 22 miles and begins at sea level with a climb to Mount Jacinto. Water can be found about 10 miles in, followed by another 6 miles to the summit where a solid rest is planned. The return travels 6 miles down to the tram, which will be taken to the valley, and the tram drop-off remains about 6 miles from the trailhead with a drive back to the start afterward. The organizer is sharing details early to allow time for training and suggests building cardio, including sauna sessions and additional conditioning. Plans may change on the day if extreme heat becomes a factor. Recommended preparation includes 3 to 5 liters of water for the first 10 miles, electrolytes in the form of powders, chews, or tablets, and enough food for roughly 1.5 to 2 meals, with additional food available at the tram station during the descent. Some hikers use L-citrulline or L-arginine found in pre-workout drinks, as well as peanuts, for high elevation support. Trekking poles are optional, footwear with good grip is encouraged, and a headlamp is useful for the early hours. Conditions near the summit can be cold and windy, so a windbreaker and a beanie may be needed.

A dedicated crop room is available each day with defined opening hours and a planned wrap-up on the final afternoon, with cleanup beginning shortly before closing. Pricing is structured by occupancy. An optional extra night is available at $193 for single occupancy, $102 for double, $72 for triple, and $57 for quad. The core retreat package that combines hotel accommodations with the crop fee is $569 for single occupancy, $387 for double, $327 for triple, and $296 for quad. A day-crop option is offered at $250, and space is limited; this covers the day crop without an additional separate fee. Meals are an additional expense. Payment can be made by Venmo, Zelle, check, or credit card processed through the organizer. A $60 nonrefundable deposit secures a spot and is applied to the balance. Attendees must be at least 18 years old, and deposits cannot be transferred to another person. If an event is canceled by the organizer, payments will be moved to a future retreat or refunded. Refunds or transfers are available up to a stated window prior to the retreat, less the nonrefundable deposit; within the final month before the event there are no refunds or credits, and written notice is required for any cancellation. The organizer may delay issuing refunds until after the retreat or until the spot is filled. Final balances are due well ahead of the retreat, with exceptions arranged as needed. A deposit may be transferred one time within the initial sign-up window, and transfers are not allowed in the final month before the event. Guests are responsible for arranging roommates to match their chosen room type. Upon request, a registered single may be paired with one other guest to create a double when available. If the number of occupants changes, pricing will be adjusted; a decrease may result in additional charges, while an increase may qualify for a credit or refund based on when the change occurs and the cancellation timeline. Day cropping is intended for locals who return home at night, and anyone switching from day cropping to an overnight stay must book through the organizer.
