Jaded provides the post race entertainment for the Hell of a Half Marathon celebration, capping a demanding 13.1 mile challenge that is known for heat and hills and the bragging rights that come with finishing. Along the course, runners encounter music from DJs, relay shuttle transportation, and eleven aid stations stocked with ice, water, sponges, sports drink, and gels, with encouragement to carry personal hydration as well. The finish area turns into a lively party with the Michelob Ultra stage billed as It’s a Party in the Park, a complimentary Michelob Ultra Beer Garden, free breakfast from Rushbowl and Rocio’s Catering, free race photos, live results on your phone, and free tracking through RaceJoy. The Tulare County Fire Department raises a United States garrison flag over the start and finish area. Awards recognize overall male and female winners, the top three in each age group and relay teams across three divisions. Event gear includes a women’s tech tank and a men’s unisex short sleeve tech shirt, with professional PT support at the finish and a standout finisher medal to mark the achievement.

Beginners are welcome at this free knitting class at the library. Supplies are provided, and participants may also bring a personal project to work on and share their progress with the group. This class is offered each month.

An instructor prepares a custom painting guide from your pet photo and pre-sketches the outline on your canvas so you can focus on painting. All supplies are provided, and step by step instruction with individual guidance is included. It is suitable for attending solo, with friends, or as a date. Food and drinks are available for purchase from Simply Brewing, and a first drink is included. The price is $55 per painter. Space is intentionally limited to allow plenty of one-on-one guidance, and registration will close when capacity is reached. After reserving, participants send a clear photo of their pet so the guide and sketch can be prepared. Expect a fun experience that ends with a meaningful piece you can take home.
